Edit document offline Office cloud to go – Google drive

It is possible anytime and anywhere on the current status of the documents to access or to revise it yet on-the-go in the subway on the way to the meeting. Offline Google drive on your notebook

For offline use Google drive via notebook or desktop computer will be chrome browser Google as well as data synchronization required.  See also access your files offline.

Setup Google chrome

• Download and install

• Google drive extension for chrome browser

Google drive sync

• Download and install

• Optionally, you can limit the directories to be synchronized, all files in the root directory are always synchronized

Google drive enable offline access

• Go online to http://drive.google.com

• Select the right settings (adjustment wheel)

• Checkbox enable "Turn on offline sync..." to "Sync Google Docs, Sheets, Slides & Drawings files..."

Android

For offline use by Android Google drive the corresponding apps are required equipment and the required files must be selected individually.

Install apps

• Google drive

• Google Docs

• Google sheets

• Google slides

Enable offline access of individual files

• Open Google drive app

• "I" hold button of the desired file grey

• Enable option "save to device"

• If the file on the device is available offline, a gray-filled pin appears.

Retrieve available offline files

• Select Google drive in the left side menu "on the device"

iOS

Use offline on iOS devices works the same as for Android (see above). The corresponding apps that are available on iTunes.
